He is Past President of the Mount Sinai Alumni and also Past President of the Dermatology Society of Greater New York. He has received Awards for Excellence in Clinical Dermatology, for Outstanding Teaching of Dermatology Residents, and The Special Recognition Award of the Mount Sinai Alumni. Dr. Lefkovits specializes in both Cosmetic and Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Medical Dermatology, including diagnosis and treatment of a very wide variety of skin conditions, such as Skin Cancer, Rejuvenation of Aging and Sun Damaged Skin, Acne Rosacea, Acne Vulgaris, Contact Dermatitis, Hair Loss, Pigmentary Disorders, and Post Surgical Procedure Scarring.
